There are 4 houses at S.S.P.S., namely – Jupiter, Mars, Mercury and Venus. These houses are clubbed together for various Inter-House competitions and calendared events. Each House is headed by a Housemaster and a Housemistress who are assisted by a number of Teachers (called as Mentors/Tutors) attached with the Houses. To take care of the pastoral, moral and emotional needs of the children, they are placed under the direct supervision of mentors with a standard ratio of 1:10. The mentors occupy the position as the first line of contract discharging their duties and responsibilities and play a vital role in character building of the children.
